What will I learn?

The OACM staff will give opportunity to explore some big picture topics in the context of practical ministry training. Below is an example of some of the areas of training covered.

Story Telling
Learn and practice the principles of storytelling and gain the confidence to retell Bible stories in ways that will more effectively convey the Bible’s message.

Presenting the Gospel
Be trained to help people understand the good news of Jesus.

Learn how to communicate to kids in appropriate, entertaining, creative ways, so that they’ll understand and remember the learning points for years to come.

Learn how to go beyond the basics of how to operate a puppet, these sessions will help you create characters and bring them to life. It will include use of puppet theatres and what to do when you don’t have one.

This is especially helpful for people who think they can’t draw, to learn simple, eye-catching sketching and cartooning, with a minimum of fuss and a minimum of equipment.
