Introducing the Western Australian Branch of OAC Ministries (Australia.)
I reckon Jesus makes so much sense of life, now and hereafter, that He’s just too good to keep to myself. I enjoy upper-primary, secondary schoolers, and adults who actively think about their lives – who they are, where they’re going, what life’s about. So our presentations at camps, retreats and series offer rare opportunities to really think, pray, and grow. I like creating concept-maps with a whiteboard or data projection. I use images, stories, object lessons, active learning, and Q&A sessions.
My favourite audiences are primary aged kids – schools, camps, anywhere. [Rob also wants to pass his skills and resources on to others.] I love well told stories. Object lessons. Fun games that support the theme. etc, etc. I have a strong sense of God’s calling me into this type of ministry. The outward signs (kids’ appreciation, teachers’ comments, etc) are also a signpost pointing to this being the right place for me.
